She can be nervous when meeting new people and does not appreciate so much hands on from people until and unless she has already learned to trust you.    Chanelle arrived with another dog in tow, BEAR. He is a smaller size boy, also estimated to be 1-5 years old, with a great big personality. Like his buddy, Chanelle, he is very barky and reactive behind cage bars but outside of these, friendly and playful. Bear sports that tri-coloring with mainly black, areas of brown and a touch of white.   Chanelle's long slim legs brings her in at  approximately 53 pounds whereas Bear's shorter and stockier body brings him in around 45 pounds.   They have joined our shelter playgroup. Both seem to gentle or dainty type dogs meaning if other dogs get too rough, they will respond. They likely would need more quiet, respectful, easy going dogs to associate with, if any.   Chanelle and Bear are in a back kennel so if you don't see them, please just ask!   VBACAC  341 S Birdneck Road , VB Open daily  12-5 pm .
