Meet Ace! Breed: moyen poodle. Age: est 1 year. Weight: approx 20lbs at this time. He could stand to gain a few pounds. Training: crate trained, we are working on house and leash training. He will need continued training and guidance as he hasn’t had many life experiences. Good with other dogs/cats? Yes, LOVES other dogs. In fact, we think he needs another dog to teach him the ropes. Good with adults/kids? Yes, although he is shy/submissive at first. He will need time to adjust. Personality: shy but curious. Playful with other dogs. He is learning how to play with toys! Reason for rescue: breeder release, retiring. Ace spent the first year of his life with little socialization. He has come so far, but will need a patient and understanding owner to help him become the wonderful companion we know he can be! He wants attention, but he is learning to accept it. He loves other dogs and we feel he needs another dog in his new home to show him how to be a companion! A fenced yard is best for him as he learns how to walk on a leash.
