A LOVABLE FRIEND:  Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 14 lbs. Hi, my name is Alan!  Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, and I’m grateful for that!  I have been soaking up the love in my great foster home and now I hear it is time for me to find a new home and family of my very own – perhaps with YOU! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I haven’t officially met other dogs while with Mostly Mutts, though I don’t seem to mind the ones I see on my walks in my foster home.  If you have a nice doggie at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over or that may fall on me.  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a super sweet fellow who is as handsome as I am sociable and affectionate.  I impressed the Mostly Mutts photographer with my gentlemanly manners and was still and trusting for my shelter bath.  I am very much a ‘people dog’ and get anxious when they are not around, so I would benefit gratefully from a stay-at-home or work-from-home family member. / My energy level is 3-5. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I know the ‘sit’ command so far and I come when my name is called in my foster home.  I bet you can teach me some more great doggie commands.  I love treats, so command training could be a fun (and yummy) time for me. / I do not like being crated and hopefully don’t require one. / My potty habits have been very good in my foster home on a good schedule, so hopefully, that will be the case in my new home, as well.  • LIKES/DISLIKES:  Honestly, there is nothing better than being with my people!  I love belly rubs, and my favorite part of my shelter bath was the cuddles in the towel afterwards.  I enjoy going for walks with my foster family, and I know I will love those with my new family, too!  I also work hard to get that yummy peanut butter out of my Kong toy. I ride well in the car – though I can be a bit drooly, just bring a towel. / Other than not liking to be left alone, I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I am looking for a home where I will be a much-loved member of the family!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
