We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Updated info as of 8/3/24:  Aldo is a really cool, fun dog. He is a sweet, friendly pup ready to find his forever home. If you’re looking for a playmate for your dog or if you need a buddy to join you on hikes, runs, or walks, Aldo would be a great choice! BREED A DNA test done on his sister shows he is 51% Australian Cattle Dog, 34% German Shepherd, 1% Collie, 1% Bohemian Shepherd, 8% Husky, 3% Chow, and 2% Chihuahua. He’s about 40-45 pounds currently and we don’t expect him to get much bigger. He is short and has the build of a Cattle dog.  KIDSHe recently met some young children when he was out for an ice cream with his foster mom. He was good with them though he does jump and may knock smaller kiddos over out of playfulness/excitement. He LOVES people! He’s also been good with 12 year old kids that he has spent time with. DOGS Yes, he is good with other dogs. He LOVES to play! He does play a little rough.  CATSProbably not. We think he’d be a bit too rough on cats and risk their safety. AGE Estimated DOB 11/1/23. OTHERHe LOVES tennis balls He will entertain himself with them if no nobody wants to play. He usually brings them back if you throw them. He LOVES people! He is crate trained and very close to being house trained. He sleeps quietly through the night in his crate too! He needs work on leash training. He is a busy boy who will need someone to give him plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He has the Cattle dog energy. He hasn’t been on a lot of car rides but has done well on the few he’s been on. He is neutered, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. In New England.
