Let Amber Finally ExhaleAmber is a beautiful girl with a warm amber coat and an even sweeter heart. She’s gentle, treat-motivated, and friendly with everyone she meets, always happy to spend time with kind people and enjoy a tasty snack or two.One of Amber’s favorite things is going for long walks where she can sniff, explore, and take in the world around her. There’s a quiet sweetness to her when she’s out and about, and you can tell she’s happiest when she has space to breathe and simply be herself. But shelter life has been especially hard on Amber. The constant noise, barking, and busy environment have been overwhelming for this sensitive soul, and it’s clear she’s longing for the peace and comfort of a home. We truly believe Amber is waiting for the moment she can leave the shelter behind and finally relax enough to show the world just how special she really is.Amber would likely do best as the only dog, where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself.More than anything, Amber is ready—ready for a soft bed, quiet walks, gentle hands, and someone to love her forever. She’s waited long enough for her second chance. Could you be the one to give her the home she’s been hoping for? Here she is during one of her early meetings with one of our volunteers:Amber has met some social dogs at our shelter. She mostly does her own thing and doesn’t seem interested in making dog friends. She can possibly live with another dog if her new humans are wiling to do slow introductions over weeks or months, depending on the comfort level of all the dogs. Or she may be happiest being your one and only. Check out her playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon – 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon – 6:00 pm.
