He can be a little shy in the beginning but once he warms up he is super affectionate and makes a definite connection with his humans.  He loves to play with other dogs but can can be awkward if they are not friendly to him. He is becoming more socially experienced because his foster parents pet-sit and Andy has the opportunity to meet many other dogs. Andy is still pretty young and has a moderately high energy level.  He has great house manners, gets extremely high marks with potty training and is really cool about staying in a crate when needed.  Currently in his foster home he eats his meals and sleeps at night in his crate in the bedroom but he is not left alone for very long as the family is retired. Andy was  heartworm positive but completeld his treatment back in July. Please consider having this gorgeous boy for a sleepover – he will become your best friend!
