Please read the entire bio for this rescue, it will provide all the information that one needs to decide if they would like to apply to adopt from SCMR.Annie   Adoption fee $250.00  The sun has come out for our Little Orphan Annie!  Annie was found as a stray in very poor condition.  She was terribly matted, stinky and had a mouthful of rotten teeth.  Annie is an 8lb Maltese female.  Her age has been estimated at 8-10 years old.  She had a dental with several extractions and is doing extremely well.  She is eating with gusto now. Annie had a full blood panel done and all results are within normal range. She is spayed, up-to-date on all vaccines and negative for heartworm, fecal, etc.  Annie has a heart murmur and her heart is enlarged but with no fluid.  She’s been prescribed a medication, which she will continue taking daily.  She does make a ‘honking’ noise occasionally but it has become less often.   Annie is a very sweet, happy girl and does respond to her name.  She has become more animated and wants to play with the other dogs.  She is very well house-trained and loves to go outside running and exploring in the fenced yard.  Annie prefers to sleep in her bed next to ours with ‘her’ blanket. She follows us everywhere!  We’re hoping for many sunny days and years for Annie in a forever home.  She is being fostered in Little River, SC. Adoption fee:  $250.00 Out-of-state adoptions are possible; however, the approved adoptive home is responsible for making the necessary arrangements to pick up their new little one.   To be considered to adopt me, please fill out an APPLICATION.   NOTE: SCMR DOES NOT adopt to homes with children under the age of 10 years or homes with Electric Fences.
