I have been taking her on outings most days to expose her to new things and give her a break away from the shelter.  These are all the things I’ve learned about her and why I’ve fallen hard for her: Relaxed and quiet passenger in a vehicle and waits calmly if you step away from it.  Toni loves to please and her warm brown eyes lock onto mine showing utter devotion and affection.  Completely potty trained.  Knows many commands like come, sit, down and  stay Walks nicely loose leash…and a couple of days ago I asked her to heel and she did that too! Toni likes everybody she meets, is a great cuddler and has no stranger danger. We recently went to Runnings and she was perfect meeting staff there and so gentle when taking treats. She even walked right by the dog bones and didn’t even try to sniff them.  She is very playful. I often bring her to my fenced backyard and she almost dances with glee as she runs after toys and balls. She seems to have a gentle mouth and doesn’t try to destroy stuffies.  Stay tuned for more updates as Toni and I have more fun together.
