Critter Details

Apricot was born with only one eye.  Does that stop him?  Not a chance!  When you're this cute and this sweet you only need one eye to be awesome.  Apricot is a Dashing Daring Swashbuckling Pirate King of a kitten.  This guy's got more swagger and charm than Captain Jack Sparrow himself.  Apricot thinks everything he sees is a toy- he's happy to pounce on a feather toy, chase a string, or catch your pony tail.   Not paying him enough attention?  He'll do his best parrot impression, climbing up on your shoulder to remind you how cute he is.  After a good playtime, Apricot will drape himself across your lap or tuck in right next to your hip for a good old fashion cuddle.  Having only one eye doesn't seem to impact his agility or function in any way.  We think it just makes him look more rakishly handsome. Apricot was found with his mom and one younger brother on the streets of Chicago.  They were rescued from the CACC less than an hour before they were scheduled to be euthanized.  Luckly, the FFF team was able to scoop them up.  Apricot helped his mom raise his younger brother Pip (from a second litter of kittens by the same mom).   Sweet Apricot was right there helping to cuddle his little brother, give him baths and teach him how to play.  Since Pip was left mostly-blind by eye infections, Apricot has been his little bro's Seeing Eye Cat.   Apricot and Pip are a bonded pair, so they must be adopted together.  Let's find them a home where they can get up to brotherly shenanigans for the rest of their lives.   Could that be with you?   WE DO NOT HAVE A PHYSICAL LOCATION AS WE ARE A FOSTER-BASED ORGANIZATION.  PLEASE SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO BE IMMEDIATELY CONNECTED TO A SCREENER.Apply at online application (catsfff.org/adopt)View all of our adoptable cats here (catsfff.org/cats)Our adoption fees are listed here (catsfff.org/adoption-fees)
