Critter Details

All people inquiring about pets listed as Courtesy Listings on the EAPL website and/or EAPL posting adoption boards should contact the current pet owner/rescue/shelter for answers to any questions and for final approval and placement. Archie is a sweet 2-year-old Kelpie mix weighing about 30 lbs. He's very affectionate and great with larger dogs, but we've learned he's not the best fit for our home with toddlers. He tends to get annoyed and overwhelmed by little ones and will accidentally knock them over when playing.   Archie would do best in a home with children ages 5 and up, or with adults who can give him consistent attention and training. He's energetic and smart, but he does have a few habits that need work – mainly digging and jumping. With time and training, he'll make a wonderful companion. We just don't have the time or resources to give him the structure he needs, and we want to find him a home where he can thrive. He is neutered and has his rabies shots.
