Meet Ashby!  Ashby is a 10-month-old Catahoula Leopard Dog boy with a big smile and an even bigger heart! This happy, friendly pup loves life, loves people, and especially loves his toys and playtime. Ashby gets along great with other dogs and enjoys making new friends. He’s both house and crate trained, which makes him well on his way to being the perfect companion. Like many young, enthusiastic pups, he’s still learning good leash manners and how to keep all four paws on the ground when he’s excited—but his eagerness to please makes him a quick learner. If you’re looking for a cheerful, affectionate dog who greets every day with joy and tail wags, Ashby is ready to be your new best friend!   If you are interested in adopting Ashby, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.   **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
