Estimated birth date: 3/30/2024 The staff of a local business arrived at work at 7:15 one morning to find 10 cats, packed in crates, at their door. Asher was one of those cats; his name means "fortunate" or "blessed," which he is, even if his circumstances were not. These young cats were filthy, and none of them were spayed or neutered, but they were all very sweet. Someone loved them clearly, as they are all quite social. We'll never know why they were dumped, but many of them found their way into care at LCCR, and that makes them all very fortunate and blessed. Asher is a total delight! He adores pets and laps, and he is super playful, and don't even mention catnip!  He has a hard time deciding sometimes if he wants a lap and pets versus toys and playtime; he is simply a very happy young cat who adapts to circumstances easily. He has spent some time with his foster's small dog, and while a little wary at times, he will adjust easily, with proper introduction, to a cat friendly dog. He is very social, and used to being with other cats so must be adopted with another young playful cat, or be adopted into a home with a cat who likes interaction with other cats. Asher's's adoption donation is $115 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing (he is negative), microchip, and neuter/spay. Asher needs his final distemper vaccine, which he will get 4/13,  and can go home after that, but can be adopted in the meantime.
