Name:   Ashton      Best Guess for Breed: Lab mix Best Guess for Age:   5 months as of November 2025         SEX:  Male   Approximate Weight:   31 lbs as of 11/17/25 – he is still growing!   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven’t seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  South Carolina shelter – needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here!   Ashton is Looking For:  Romps in parks and world exploration by his new humans’ side! This handsome young pup is eager to burn off all that young-dog energy and make pup and people pals along the way. And quality kibble and a cushy dog bed and lots of cuddles! And dog school, too, so he can show how super smart he is. Most of all, he wants to know where his home is, to know he’s safe and loved for all his days. In exchange, he promises happy tail wags and loyal companionship and adoring gazes. What do you say?
