Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue CONFIDENT AND INDEPENDENT Meow! My name is Aslan. My estimated date of birth is 1/26/2021. I am a very sweet and handsome boy! I like to be gently petted, but will tell you when I'm done. I am calm and quiet. I am reserved and independent. I am very playful, but due to growing up as a stray, I'm still learning what toys are. I've done great with lasers! I need a patient adopter: I need time to adjust to new people and situations. I would do best in a quiet household where I have my own space. I came into the rescue very scared, but I have made tremendous progress, and am slowly gaining my confidence back! I used to hide and hiss, but now I'm roaming around the shelter–cage-free–and greeting visitors! I am good with other cats, but I am a dominant male and would do best with submissive cats. I do not like young children, and would do best with older children who will be patient and calm with me. I have never been around dogs. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many  that are not posted yet.  Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.  No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so).  We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.   We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.  Visit bit.ly/DonateFLR for more info.
