Rokay, rere I ram. It's me, ASTRO and here is some info about me:Breed: Terrier/Catahoula mixAge: 3 yrs – 051022Gender: MaleWeight: 50 lbsHeight: 19 inchesCountry of origin: MexicoHighlights: Loving, loyal, smart, active, affectionateWhile a bit reserved at first, I am very affectionate and love hugs & kisses.After being rescued from the streets while pregnant with my siblings and me, my mama gave birth to us. So life began safely at a shelter in Mexico for us. My sibs, Morning Glory & Diego are also posted.You will see I am a loyal boy, who just wants to enjoy being with his family.My rescuer states I would thrive with an active family to go on walks with & experience new adventures together. I do fairly well on leash, but could use more work yet. I am also crate trained for those few times or few hours it may be required. Let's just not make a habit of it, ok? Smile.Though a bit shy & serious at first, I like to play with other dogs. I play a bit rough with my siblings. Play hard, sleep hard. Proper intro to other new dogs is always a wise choice for us new rescues. I have had limited experience with children. Cats you ask… well, they kind of scare me when I see them on the street. So I remain leary of them.Since my rescuers lost their sanctuary, I have been moved around a bit in boarding, shelter and with a trainer, I am feeling a little out of sorts and can get amped up a bit right now. I wasn't like this when things were stable, so I'm sure once I settle and understand I am forever home, I will calm again. So currently when I get all jazzed up uncertain, I can get a bit stressed. Not aggression wise, but act out like fussing with my bro when unknown dogs came by when we were playing or running after a little girl running and nipping her in the bottom. I didn't cause harm, scared her more than anything. I am just trying to adjust to all the changes happening so fast. The trainer said I got along fine with all people and dogs while with him.I just need a home of my own. I hope you will give me the time needed to relax and become that sweet pup again.I am told I am a wonderful dog. Just circumstances are rough right now. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 – $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. You will NOT be asked to pay a passenger fee on top of the cargo fee.[MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East.[TURKEY] Dogs from Turkey receive a 4D SNAP test to include Leishmania, Heartworm, Ehrlichia, & Anaplasma, as well as Giardia, Parvo, Corona & Distemper.
