Meet Atlee, the tan brindle beauty! We suspect Atlee is some sort of cool breed like a Formosan Mountain Dog or Kelpie mix â&#194&#128&#194&#147 heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153d be a cool one for an adopter to DNA test. Atlee was originally found after hanging out at a Starbucks. Although he may have been attempting to place an order, staff knew it wasnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t in his best interest to get a caffeine kick and had him safely transported to the Shelter to find his guardian. Since his arrival at the Shelter, he has been seeking attention, tidy in his kennel and playful. During his meet and greets with dogs, he has been tactile and enjoyed a game of chase. A home with a resident dog may be a fit for this guy after some speed dating at the Shelter. Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end â&#194&#128&#194&#156meet and greetsâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
