    Meet Atreyeu – The Happiest Boy Who Just Found Out About Grass, Love, and Tennis Balls!   Atreyeu is an 11-month-old, Cattle Dog mix, with a face that says it all: “Wait, I get a yard AND people?!” After spending nearly half his young life in a shelter, this 50-pound bundle of wiggles is soaking up every ounce of freedom, affection, and playtime he can get.   True to his breed mix, Atreyeu is smart, curious, and full of energy. He’s also still very much a puppy at heart, his joy can sometimes get the better of his manners, but he’s learning quickly in his foster home. He’s making great strides with house training and basic boundaries, and he tries so hard to do the right thing, especially when he knows there’s a tennis ball or treat involved.   Atreyeu loves to play chase in the yard with his dog friends, and he’s learning to settle down and enjoy a good chew session (if he can focus long enough not to get distracted by something more exciting!). He does well with other dogs, is gentle with children, and is respectful of cats with proper introductions.   He’s looking for a home that will give him consistent guidance, lots of exercise, and most importantly plenty of love.
