  August is super precious and slightly bashful. She is majestic and dignified. August fancies the top of the cat tower and can be found sleeping in an empty cardboard box. She plays with various cat toys and toys that belong to the dog. August is a wonderful kitten to star gaze with as she is named for the month of the Perseid meteor shower! Her ideal home is with an individual, couple or family. August hangs with littermates June, July, September and October. She should do okay with a cat-friendly dog. August is solid black with a short coat. As of August 2024, August is 3 months old.  Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
