My Ideal HomeMy perfect family would be someone who works from home or is around often, because I’m still building confidence when left alone. I’ve made progress with my separation anxiety, but I’m most comfortable alone for about 2 hours right now. A yard would be wonderful for me — it helps me settle, explore safely, and burn a little energy before turning back into a couch potato.I can happily live in any type of neighborhood — suburban, rural, farm, or city. I’m easygoing and not bothered by noise, since I can’t hear it!I would do best in a detached home rather than an apartment or condo, mostly because I may bark when left alone.‍‍‍ Family DynamicsI’m a social boy who loves people of all ages — kids, teens, adults, and even seniors. I’m gentle and calm, which makes me a great companion for a mellow household, but I’m also up for adventurous walks with a more active family. At home, I settle right down and love being close to my humans. Other PetsI get along very well with cats — I’m curious but respectful. I haven’t shown any prey drive, and I haven’t been reactive to animals on walks. I might even do fine with small pets or farm animals, though supervised introductions are always best.I haven’t visited a dog park yet, so my new family should take introductions slowly and thoughtfully.‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 Exercise & TrainingI’m a laid-back walker who needs just a couple of walks around the block each day. I love being outside, and I enjoy all kinds of terrain.I’m working hard on a couple of things:• Separation anxiety• Leash manners (I can get very excited and hyper-focused on the leash, and I’m a strong jumper when overstimulated!)With patience, consistency, and a good routine, I continue to improve every day. Food & HealthI’ve had no food sensitivities or allergies, and I eat the food provided without issue. I’m fully house-trained, and once I know the routine, I’m rock solid.
