Autumn is a 3.5-year-old hound mix of something, maybe a Treeing Walker.  Autumn is fully vaccinated and ready for her new home – that is not in an apartment or condo type setting. Autumn is a great girl who loves other dogs, and does great at day care, is good on a leash, but like most hounds, if she gets a scent of something she will pull you towards it.  Autumn is currently a little on the chunky side as she is very food motivated, she would benefit from losing a couple of pounds.  As for why Autumn won’t be a fit for apartments or condo’s is that like a typical hound, she loves to sing the song of her people quite often when no one is home, therefore Autumn would benefit from another dog in the home to keep her company or her new family that is okay with her talking when they are out. Autumn is house trained, crate trained, but will talk, and has been good around children she has met; cats are unknown If you are interested in adopting Autumn, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.   **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
