He and his brother were left outside the shelter in the middle of the night—scared, alone, and confused. Thankfully, the shelter staff found them in the morning, took them in, and gave them the care they needed. Despite his rough start, Axel is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and full of energy! He loves people and seems to get along well with other dogs. Though he’s still a little nervous, he’s opening up more every day and is ready to find a loving forever home where he can feel safe.
