Armando (black and white) and Azuka (buff orange) are an inseparable pair of brothers who must be adopted together. From a very young age, their bond was undeniable, always choosing each other for play and comfort. This became even clearer when Armando had a tail injury (the shaved patch is growing back nicely!); Azuka would cry inconsolably during the short times his brother was away for vet appointments, even with human company. It was then we knew for certain: these two are truly bonded and belong together. Armando is a fantastic, affectionate kitty. He loves lying on his back, eagerly accepting face kisses, and delights in slow belly and chest scratches. He's incredibly soft and adores curling up on your lap. We often pick him up just to hold and kiss him; he even likes being held like a baby! With time and focused attention, he will undoubtedly form a strong bond with his human family. Azuka is a little more reserved but communicates often with charming chirps and hums – much like his talkative mother. He also enjoys curling up on your lap, especially if Armando is already there. More than once, he has shown his affection by perching on the back of a recliner and gently licking hair. Both boys are excellent with the litter box. They love all kinds of toys – strings, balls, mice, noisy toys, scratch posts, tunnels, and cat trees. They particularly enjoy lounging in the hanging hammock and scaling to the top tier of their cat tree. They adore affection and love gazing into your eyes. Their favorite meal includes the yellow Purina Kitten kibble supplemented with one small can of wet food each day. Their nails should be kept trimmed to help protect your furniture. They haven't been around dogs. If introduced to another cat, please be aware that they can play rough, so ensure the other cat won't feel overwhelmed or ganged up on.
