*** ADOPTION PENDING 11/19/2025 *** Hello! I’m BABY (DOB: 04/28/2024), a female purebred odd-eyed White Persian. I came into rescue because I hadn’t been well socialized. I went into a foster home for “socialization boot camp,” which has been fun. The way to my heart is interactive play (I especially love our ping pong ball soccer games a few times a day), catnip, my favorite toys, and gentle petting when I am in the cat condo. It took me a few weeks to warm up to my foster mom, but now I purr and make biscuits when she pets me and will approach when she is sitting on the floor, but I will back away if she tries to pet me. I will signal when I’ve had enough petting but if she does not listen, I will try to nip or swat at her hand. I am learning that she will gently say “no”  and leave the room when I do this. I cooperate well when having my eyes cleaned (I get eye stains easily, so my eyes need daily cleaning) and for combing. That said, I do need someone who is familiar with the upkeep of Persians. I am curious about gentle cats, but do not like bossy cats at all! I need a quiet home with no dogs and someone who will be patient with me as I continue on my journey to socialization. My foster mom says I am smart and gorgeous and have great potential as a loving companion. I may not become a lap kitty, but I do like to be nearby. I have perfect house manners. I am spayed, up-to-date with vaccines, negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, have received flea preventative, and am microchipped. My adoption fee is $350.00.
