Meet Bailey!-7 year old Great Pyrenees mix (breed is simply a guess!)-Weighs around 100lbs-Came into the Shelter as an owner surrender after previous guardian could no longer care for-Surrendered with Cisco A317633. Could be adopted together but not required-Typical of Livestock Guardian Breeds, Cisco does bark to alert of people approaching a property as well as when he hears cars go by-Lived in a home with teens, men and women previously-History of being left alone outdoors as well as inside and crated-Has gotten along with other dogs out in the world but can be reactive to other dogs on leash and/or behind a barrier-Not recommended to go to a home with small animals or cats due to observed prey drive in the previous home-Knows â&#194&#128&#194&#156sitâ&#194&#128&#194&#157, â&#194&#128&#194&#156downâ&#194&#128&#194&#157, and â&#194&#128&#194&#156shakeâ&#194&#128&#194&#157-Enjoys going for car rides -Bailey’s adoption has been sponsored by a generous donor!Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end â&#194&#128&#194&#156meet and greetsâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
