A DELIGHTFUL & FUN FELLOW:  Approx. 8 years old / Approx. 32 lbs.  Hi there!  My name’s Baloo!  Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control and I’m grateful for that!  I’ve been soaking up all the attention and care from the shelter volunteers and am now spending time in a wonderful foster home. I can’t wait to find a furever family of my own! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I’ve met the other dogs in my foster home, one larger and one smaller than me and have gotten along well with them.  I’ve been submissive and back off when they correct me, so if you have a friendly dog at home already, let’s meet! / There are three cats in my foster home, and I’ve done well with them.  I go between ignoring and sniffing them. / There were 3 kids in my snowcation foster home, ages 9 – 13, and I liked them a lot, so if you have kids around that age let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  My fosters report that I’m a happy-go-lucky dog who enjoys following my people around the house.  I  like to get snuggles and pets, but I’ve also been good lying down by myself with my people nearby.  I don’t love spending a lot of time alone, so a stay-at-home or work-from-home family member would be great. The shelter volunteers report that I’m playful, fun, happy and friendly. / Energy level: 3-5. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I know the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘come’, ‘leave it’ and ‘roll over’ commands so far and I’m sure you can teach me even more! / I don’t use a crate in my foster home and I didn’t like being in a crate in my temp. foster home. / My potty manners have been good in my foster home so far. I’ve started going to the back door when I need to go outside to potty, so keep me on a good schedule and I think I’ll do well.  • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I enjoy cuddling, giving kisses, naps, playing with toys, being with my people and having fun!  I’m sure we will discover lots of other things that we’ll enjoy doing together too! / Other than being alone too much, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I have moderate tartar on my teeth, so my adoptive family should consult with their vet and consider a dental cleaning in the future.
