We had an outing after my last update; we went shopping at Home Depot. She was very well-behaved and even laid down while I was picking out my light bulbs. Surprisingly, when we got back to the SUV, she hopped right in the front seat. I was beaming with pride. Banana Bread still gets nervous the first time getting in the car, but she is very trainable. She got a bath, and although it wasn’t her favorite getting in, she seemed fine while I lathered her up. I had to vaccinate her, and she didn’t even notice, she just sat nicely. Banana Bread shares toys and bones with my pups, always trying to steal them to be hers, but shares willingly. She now knows to sit and will run to her food dish at super time and sit without command. Banana bread doesn’t mind this cold weather and likes to run and play in the snow. I still kennel her for a break during the day, but she loves to sleep in the bedroom with us. Banana Bread can’t wait to find her family, so she can soak up all the things a permanent family involves. 2/2/25 Foster Home Feedback: Banana Bread has been here a week. She slept with us last night and loved it. She also went to an appointment with me and just hung out. She is such a good girl. Banana Bread rides well in the car but is still learning how to get in, I currently lift her. She stayed at a sitters this weekend and did well with the three little dogs. Banana Bread enjoyed playing with the younger playful one. One is pretty snarky and she did well with him snarking at her. She melts into you when you pet her and looks lovingly in your eyes. Banana Bread is sweet as can be. 1/29/2025 Foster Feedback: This pretty girl came to my home a few days ago. Banana Bread appears to have been an outdoor dog and not used to the comforts of a home. She was scared to use the stairs but used them like a champ after a few days. She is potty and kennel trained, whines a little at first but quiets in a few minutes. As you can see from the pictures, Banana Bread loves her people and soaks up attention. Pictures don't do her justice. One meet and her loving eyes and soft coat will have you swooning. Banana Bread has easily transitioned into my home with my two large male dogs and an old blind chihuahua. To view additional dogs available for adoption, please see our website: www.4luvofdog.org
