Meet Barney! Breed: standard poodle. Age: 1.5 years. Weight: 50lbs. Training: crate and leash trained, working on house training and he is doing well. He hasn’t had much life experiences and will need continued socialization and training. Good with other dogs/cats? Yes. Good with adults/kids? Yes. Personality: Barney is reserved around new people and in new situations. Once he warms up to you, he is very loyal, and eager to please. He is playful but also laid back. Barney will need an adopter that understands he will take time, but in the end, you will have a pal for life! He would do best with a confident dog to show him the ropes and a fenced yard is ideal. Reason for rescue: breeder release, retiring. He is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and preventatives.
