Check out her foster adventures on Instagram @fetaandherfosterfriends!   Name: Basil  Best Guess for Breed: Domestic Short Hair Age: 3 months (Est. DOB: 8/16/24) SEX: Female      Approximate Weight: 2.6 lbs a/o 10/30 Coloring: Black & White Type of Hair: Short Gets Along With: Because of her young age, Basil will likely get along with other cats, dogs and kids with an acclimation period.  We’re happy to help with tips and tricks! Litter: Basil, Bea Currently Living at: Foster home in the DC area I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I’m Basil, and I am a cute little kitten! I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be my kitten self. Two kittens are more fun than one and I’d love to be adopted with my sister, Bea! What My Foster Says About Me: Basil is the bravest of the bunch. She exudes confidence and isn’t phased by much. She is white with cute black spots like a cow and the pinkest of toe beans that she shows off often :) Her shape is more of that sleek and slender cat silhouette. She is curious and sweet and will let you pick her up and hold her; she is full of purrs. She likes to be pet and likes to be cradled like a baby and lean her head back for chin scritches. :) She likes to spend time on the highest perch of the cat tree and falls asleep so soundly up there! She is playful and quirky  – she loves to do soft little trills and will zoom around the room trying to get her sister to chase her. She also loves to ‘help’ me with filling her water bowl…she likes to jump on the sink and grab for it when I turn on the faucet. :) She met a 6 year old over Thanksgiving and did super well with him, and she has met my cat and has been curious but respectful. She has not met a dog yet, but given what I know about her, I think she would warm up in no time. Basil is a FANTASTIC, joyful, and sweet kitten who would do well in any home!
