His hatch date is 5/29/2022.  Conures can live up to 35 years so this guy is just a baby and has tons of life left to live.  Basil was hand fed as a baby and was very attached to his previous owner, but he unfortunately passed away and Basil has been having trouble trusting anyone else right now.  He doesn't seem to mind the kids or other animals in his foster home and loves to have conversations.  His previous owner stated that he has some words but it might take some time for him to heal from his loss and start talking again.  He could use someone who will give him time to adjust to his loss and hopefully find a new buddy.
