Feb 28, 2025: Just look at his progress and Bear has begun his heartworm treatment! It is time for some calm confinement to let this treatment work its magic. Feb 13, 2025: Bear is neutered. Jan 27, 2025:  Bear is putting on weight and doing great.    He is fully vaccinated now and weighs 45 lbs. Jan 17, 2025:  Bear went to Foster in PR.  Jan 13, 2025 Bear had a bath today and continues to improve. He is your shadow in the house. Please contact SAF PR or complete our Foster Application. Jan 6, 2025:  Bear has come a long way and is seeking a foster home on island to help preserve his progress.  He is a cuddle bug and really enjoys sitting outside in the sun.  He is leash trained and will sit for his meals and treats. We are working on crate training.  Due to his previous suspected confinement, he still trips sometimes when walking.  He is dog friendly but has not been fully tested with cats.  Dec 2024: Bear is gaining weight, healing and doing so much better.  We can’t wait to see him at his prime!
