We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.9/20 Still available! 9/1/26 Bear was adopted from us when he was a little baby. He is now about 8-9 months old and he is in need of a new home. Bear is energetic and kind hearted. He loves other dogs and kids. He would greatly benefit from a structured home, with a family who is willing to invest some time in training him. His current family has been unsuccessful at house training him, and he has a habit of jumping up in excitement, which poses a fall risk to the grandparents who visit frequently. I believe these issues are related to not getting enough exercise, not enough structure, and just him being an adolescent puppy who is still learning and growing. I believe in a few months, some these issues will resolve but in the meantime he needs a new home with a family who will be patient but will also take the lead with training him and giving him lots of exercise. He is leash trained and fully vetted. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
