Name:  Beauty        Best Guess for Breed:  Jack Russell terrier and Lab mix  Best Guess for Age:  11 months as of January 2026       SEX:  Female   Approximate Weight: 24 lbs as of 1/10/26; might have just a bit more to grow   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven’t seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   South Carolina shelter – needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here!   Beauty is Looking For:  Beauty has brains and a heart too and she knows what’s most important in life – being safe and loved, knowing where she belongs! She’s seeking her own humans for sniffy walks and romps and world exploration – and for all those great snuggles. She’d love to make pup pals along the way, and would like to go to dog school so she can show how super smart she is.    In exchange, she promises so many adoring gazes – and loyal companionship for all her days.
