Found as an under-socialized stray, he came to us unsure of people, unsure of love, and unsure of how to just be a dog. But with a warm bath, some good meals, and a little time, Beaver is beginning to show his bright, playful personality—and boy oh boy, does he have a great smile! He’s still learning how to be a pet, but his desire to connect is clear. He loves attention and gets excited when he’s with his people—his signature move? Running happy little circles when he’s really feeling the moment. Beaver does best with calm, submissive dog friends who respect his space and let him move at his own pace. And while he’s curious and playful with people, he’s still learning to trust. He’d do best in a home with older, dog-savvy children who can give him the patience and kindness he needs to settle in and feel safe. Beaver is ready for a home that offers: ✔ Gentle guidance as he learns what love feels like ✔ Calm or submissive dog friends (or solo dog life with engaged humans!) ✔ A quiet, respectful home with older kids or adults ✔ Time, patience, and plenty of happy circles He’s come such a long way—and with the right people, Beaver’s best days are still ahead of him. Beaver is from Texas. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
