Critter Details

    Ben Bear is a 5 year old, Pit Bull/Terrier mix and weighs 40 pounds. He is house trained. Bear is a sweet boy and is a big lap dog. He will be your shadow around the house and once you sit, he will be in your lap or rest his head on your hand.   Bear spends most of the day chilling on the couch and likes to sleep in the bed with his human. Bear is great on a leash and likes to lead the way at a brisk pace. He loves going on walks and mostly keeps his nose to the ground, sniffing all the scents he discovers on his journeys.   Bear also enjoys running around in a fenced yard, but he doesn’t like to stay out too long away from the one he loves! Bear responds well to “no” and has learned “sit.” He is working on learning not to jump when he greets you. He enjoys toys and playing fetch with a ball is his favorite. However, will resource guard balls around other dogs.    Ben Bear needs to be an only dog.  He will be a loyal companion to a human and is looking for someone that will confidently be his leader and show him lots of love!
