This brave girl came to us from an animal control facility where, despite being attacked by another dog, she heroically protected her puppies. Her story touched us deeply, and we were honored to bring her and her babies into our care. When Betsy arrived, she was in rough shape—underweight and clearly unfamiliar with home life. But she has blossomed beautifully. Now kennel trained and learning to interact well with other dogs (with proper introductions), Betsy has come a long way. Please note that she isn’t good with cats, but she’s as sweet as can be with kids. A typical Boxer mix, Betsy loves giving hugs, wrapping her paws around you, and soaking up love.
