Betty is so friendlyTo start our adoption process, House of Mews Rescue asks that you please complete our online no-obligation adoption application, which is located on our website under the adopt tab at http://www.houseofmewsrescue.org/adopt.html  Should our adoption coordinator feel your application is a good fit, a HOM volunteer will reach out to discuss it with you.  Current on vaccinations, and have tested negative for both FIV (’Feline Immunodeficiency Virus’) and FeLV (Feline Leukemia). Betty and Bonnie, two sisters who have grown very close after their mom and siblings were adopted, are looking for a family who will pamper and spoil them.  They get sad when separated,  which is why they must be adopted together.  At 3 months old, the girls already display the personalities of a typical Siamese cat.  They are inquisitive, playful, energetic, headstrong, and love to follow their humans around, demanding attention.  They love to help out on cleaning days when they would sit on the cleaning tools, play with paper towels, and supervise cleaning their litterboxes.  No toilet paper or paper towels are safe from these girls. They will need a family who appreciates their personality and gives them plenty of attention.   Betty, the sweet, friendly, and social sister, is an energetic kitten who loves to play. She enjoys playing with her sister Bonnie as well as humans, and her playful nature is sure to bring a lot of joy and entertainment to her new family.  She is easily distracted and doesn’t sit still for long in a human lap.  She is obsessed with doors and likes to walk through any doors in sight to check things out.   Therefore, her future family has to keep her from assessing the washer and dryer. Betty sleeps and plays with her sister Bonnie when the humans are not home.  This little ball of energy loves to wrestle with Bonnie and chase her around the house like a little squirrel.  Betty can be enduringly mischievous at times; she needs Bonnie to keep her occupied, thereby out of trouble.
