We have a Big Foot sighting at FHS! This adorable, approx. 6-year-old tux, has the distinction of having a true big right front paw. Per the vets, he was born with it. He gets around well and our team thinks his socked big foot makes him even more of a stand out. He is super laid back, loves attention, gets along well with other cats, doesn't seem to mind cat-friendly dogs once he knows they are safe, and likes considerate kids. He would do well on his own or in a home with another cat. He was rescued from homeless life and was a little rough, but he has settled right into the indoor luxe life and is already looking much better thanks to his fosters TLC. First step: Fill out the required adoption application. We do not adopt to anyone living outside of the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area. All our cats/dogs will be spayed/neutered, heart worm tested (dogs-age appropriate), FeLV/FIV test (cat/litter), microchipped, and current on vaccinations. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We review all applications received to ensure that the animal and the applicant are a good match based on personal experiences with the animal. These animals live in foster homes with us, so we are familiar with their habits and behaviors. Home visits may be required prior to adoption approval.
