There was a family who wanted a cat, and Bingo was his name-o! Bingo is the free square in the middle of your life that has been missing, so stand up and shout out in excitement to claim your prize! Bingo's personality card checks off all of the necessary boxes to be a winner; social, handsome, chatty, cuddly, and just a little bit dumb. He also does an excellent impression of a parrot, complete with plopping himself on your shoulders, so the real question remains…arrrrrr you ready, buckos? While Bingo is the total package, that packaging was a bit unstuffed by a little bit of bad luck in the genetic lottery, so he needs a patient and understanding home that is able to provide him with all of the things he needs to be happy. Bingo has PICA, which is a condition that causes him to chew on and swallow items that he otherwise shouldn't. Due to that, Bingo needs to live in a minimalist type space to avoid him having access to anything he can chew on and destroy, and thus get stuck in his stomach. He can still have access to large variety of your typical cat toys, so long as they are more sturdy or already designed to be broken down and digested. You will need to get a little creative, but loving a cat like Bingo make you feel so light on your feet that you might not even notice how much he keeps you on your toes! On paper, and in practice, it may seem a little overwhelming, but Bingo is well-deserving of the opportunity to flourish in the right home. We are currently giving him daily anxiety meds and trying out a special diet to see it that helps. An ideal adopter may be someone who works from home or has multiple people in the home with different schedules so that he has company throughout the day, as well as a great relationship with your vet. Our adoption staff can talk to you further with any questions you may have! Bingo was also originally adopted from PAWS with one of his siblings, so he could do well in a home with another social and active kitty, but all of the dietary and spacing related needs would need to be considered as well.
