Name:  Blanchette          Best Guess for Breed:   Terrier and shepherd mix  Best Guess for Age: 10 months as of February 2025        SEX:   Female   Approximate Weight: 22 lbs as of 2/16/25; she might have a bit more to grow.   Gets Along With:   Other dogs! Blanchette has lived with a 10 year old child and done well. She lives with cats but is very playful and may chase in play.  She would do best with dog savvy cats.  Currently Living at:  South Carolina shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get her freedom ride up here.    Blanchtte is Looking For:    Her forever home! Blanchette is not that long out of puppyhood and hasn’t seen nearly enough of the world yet. She’s eager to explore it by the side of her new family. Sniffy walks, romps in parks, and all the adventures they can dream up – yes, please! She’d love to make new pup pals along the way. And to go to dog school so she can show how super smart she is! Most of all, she wants to know where she belongs, to be safe and loved. In exchange, she promises adoring gazes and tail wags and loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say? What My Foster Says About Me:   We will update this once she has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with her foster.  Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
