See Blaze: At the shelter’s HomepageGo to our official websiteYou can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Blaze is a calm, affectionate, and well-mannered gentleman who’s looking for his forever family—again. After a year in a loving home, Blaze has sadly returned to the shelter through no fault of his own. His previous adopter had major life changes that made it impossible to continue giving Blaze the time and companionship he deserves. But during that year, Blaze thrived—he was housebroken, loving, and a constant companion at home and even at work. Now back at the shelter, Blaze continues to impress. He’s sweet, gentle, easy to leash, and adored by volunteers of all ages. He’s friendly with people, loves kids, and has shown positive signs with female dogs (a meet-and-greet is recommended). He’s also much calmer around other animals since being neutered and slimming down to a healthier weight. Blaze is house-trained, neutered, fully vetted, and ready to bring someone joy again. He walks well on leash, keeps a clean kennel, and just wants to be someone’s sidekick again. Blaze would do best in a home with: A calm or moderately active environment A loving human who’s home often or takes him along Possibly a friendly female dog (meet-and-greet recommended) A comfy chair—because he still loves to snuggle!
