Meet Blue Dahlia – a quiet beauty with a gentle heart and a blossoming spirit. Blue Dahlia is a stunning feline looking for a calm, animal-free home where she can truly shine. She’s the kind of cat who needs a little time and space to settle in—but once she does, she’ll reward your patience with affection and quiet companionship. When Blue Dahlia first arrived, she was shy and uncertain, spending her first couple of days tucked away in a quiet corner. But with time and a little kindness, she began seeking out attention, brushing up against her foster for pets, and even rolling over to show off her belly for a good brushing session (her favorite!). She’s not a fan of being picked up and prefers affection on her own terms—she’ll jump in your lap when she’s ready and nudge you with her head when she wants more attention. While she’s not into toys, she does enjoy a short game with a laser pointer before retiring to a cozy nap spot. One of her most endearing quirks? She occasionally raises and quivers her tail in delight—a sign she’s feeling happy and secure. Blue Dahlia enjoys watching the world go by from a sunny window or patio door and may curl up on your bed to sleep near you through the night. She’s a vocal girl around mealtimes and eats well most of the time. While she’s not a fan of the kennel and still won’t allow herself to be picked up, her affectionate, observant nature continues to unfold a little more each day. If you’re someone who values a more independent but loving cat—who won’t crowd you but will absolutely bond with you—Blue Dahlia might just be your perfect match. Blue Dahlia is from an owner surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
