Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue SWEET AND PLAYFUL Meow! My name is Blue Moon. My estimated date of birth is 4/17/2024. I am an active and gentle boy! I enjoy attention and will purr for you, but I'm not the type to seek it out. I am very playful and I love to run around! I like lasers, wands, and a bunch of other fun things. I am very sweet and gentle with my people, but a little monster with my toys! I am quiet and very respectful. I have a terrific appetite and will eat any type of dry or wet food! Sadly, I grew up in the shelter–I'm over a year old, but have been in the rescue's system since I was a baby. I have some trust issues–I am easily spooked and cautious of new people, but I am slowly gaining confidence. I need an adopter who is able to go slow with me–it would be great to bond with you through playing! Unfortunately, due to my shy nature, this has caused a lot of adopters to overlook me as a kitten. Now, as an adult, it's even harder to get a home! I would do best in a quiet, calm household. I am good with other cats and find comfort in their presence. I am good with older children who are patient and calm with me. I have never been around dogs. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many  that are not posted yet.  Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.  No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so).  We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.   We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.  Visit bit.ly/DonateFLR for more info.
