Introducing the new and improved Bluey. Bluey is still a 60 pound neutered Pit mix with a heart of gold, but Bluey 2.0 is a different dog in many important ways. He has become a sweeter, quieter, and much more obedient boy since he arrived at the shelter. He sits patiently for treats, which he always deserves, and has learned to lie down on command. He is good on a leash and loves going for walks with his favorite people. He also loves to chase after a ball thrown in the yard. All of the volunteers are delighted with Bluey’s progress and are excited for Bluey to realize his full potential in the right home. Bluey is currently at the Shelter. Here is the adoption process: To adopt an animal you must complete an application and be approved. There is a $60 fee for any animal which needs to be cash or a check – NO CREDIT CARDS. If the animal is not spayed or neutered, there is a $35 deposit which will be returned upon proof of surgery. All dogs must be licensed before leaving the Shelter. Please note that public offices that issue dog licenses are not open on Saturdays and Sundays. All cats must leave in a carrier. Thank you for considering a homeless animal.
