Home for the Holidays – Blushing Star's Adoption Fee Sponsored by a volunteer who loves me!     Hi, I’m Blushing Star, but you can call me whatever you want as long as you call me! I'm a Shepherd and maybe a Black Mouth Cur mix. I'm about seven years old, and I weigh 68 pounds, so I'm larger than I look. I love nature walks and smelling all the new scents. I wake up with the best attitude and am happy to start the day. I would LOVE a new beginning in a forever home. I promise to bring joy and cheerfulness to you every day with my love, kisses, and gentle ways. You see, I am a people dog. I LOVE people, but other four-legged creatures, not so much. So, I'm looking for a pet-free home – except for me.  I can't help it – I have so much love to give, and I don't want to share your attention with other animals. I also like to take long walks, play fetch, and relax with my people. I am already house and crate-trained and walk well on my leash.  I do love food & treats, but I don’t beg and will gently take them from you if offered.  I am a little rowdy, so I'm not the best with small children. I will also need an experienced dog person for my walks as I tend to get a little excited when I see other four-legged creatures. As you can see from my photos, I am a beautiful dog. I'm told I look like a German Shepherd and Black Mouth Cur mix. But whatever I am, I am 100% lovable. Will you consider adopting me?
