Bonnie is cuddly once comfortableTo start our adoption process, House of Mews Rescue asks that you please complete our online no-obligation adoption application, which is located on our website under the adopt tab at http://www.houseofmewsrescue.org/adopt.html  Should our adoption coordinator feel your application is a good fit, a HOM volunteer will reach out to discuss it with you.  Current on vaccinations, and have tested negative for both FIV (’Feline Immunodeficiency Virus’) and FeLV (Feline Leukemia). Bonnie and Betty, two sisters who have grown very close after their mom and siblings were adopted, are looking for a family who will pamper and spoil them.  They get sad when separated,  which is why they must be adopted together.  At 3 months old, the girls already display the personalities of a typical Siamese cat.  They are inquisitive, playful, energetic, headstrong, and love to follow their humans around, demanding attention.  They love to help out on cleaning days, when they would sit on the clean tools, playing with paper towels, supervising the cleaning of their litterboxes.  No toilet paper or paper towels are safe from these girls. They will need a family who appreciates their personality and gives them plenty of attention.   Bonnie does not like changes and becomes aloof in a new environment with strangers.  Once she becomes comfortable, Bonnie is very cuddly and will sit in a lap for as long as she is allowed.  She purrs as soon as she is touched and enjoys being carried around like a baby.  When the humans are not around, Bonnie plays and sleeps with her sister, Betty.  The two are inseparable and have to be adopted together.  In return, the humans will get unlimited entertainment by watching and playing with them.
