Critter Details
Meet Bonnie! She was born around 6/20/24 and currently weighs under 5 lbs. Her mama was a 10 lb scruffy Terrier mix and dad is unknown, but looks to be some Chihuahua. Even though beautiful Bonnie is a small girl, she has a big heart and is ready to set off for a forever family. Bonnie has been exposed to young children and other small dogs in her current foster home and has approved of all of it! She is a social butterfly and would do well with or without another dog in the household. Bonnie would do best in a home with children who are very experienced with dogs. Her extremely petite size makes rowdy kids or very playful large breed dogs a safety concern. Bonnie is currently learning how to gain her independence by separating from the rest of her litter and even sleeping in a separate pen or crate overnight by herself. She is a young puppy who will need the typical potty training patience and also learn how to be walked on leash. Bonnie is eager to make new friends and family. Will you give this shining girl a bright future? She is up to date on vetting and vaccines, microchipped, on preventatives, and will be spayed by one of our vets by 6 months of age. Her adoption donation fee is $425. Please apply directly on our website in the drop down menu: https://havenanimalrescuenebraska.org PLEASE SUBMIT AN APPLICATION AT: https://havenanimalrescuenebraska.org/adoption-application We do not have a facility. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals. We are a state licensed, 501c3 nonprofit rescue and the adoption donation may be tax deductible for you. Thank you for choosing adoption!!
