Boots had a rough start in life, being abandoned on a rural gravel road , but he and his siblings were fortunate to be rescued within minutes. Since then, these lucky pups have been showered with love and attention from both kids and adults. Boots is a bit shy but incredibly sweet, especially when it comes to snuggling on the couch. He’s been working on getting comfortable with being handled and is learning to sleep through the night in his crate. Boots loves playing with other dogs and, with basic training, he’s sure to become an exceptional companion. A fenced yard is essential for Boots, as he needs plenty of space to run and exercise daily. He wouldn’t be suited for a condo, apartment, or townhome—this boy needs room to stretch his legs! He’ll thrive in a home with another dog and is making progress in learning not to chase cats, though he may need continued guidance if your cat tends to run.
