Meet Bowser! Bowser is a 4-year-old Boston Terrier, weighing around 20 pounds, who is ready for a fresh start and a family to call his own. He was surrendered to a local rural shelter due to skin issues and lack of time for care, but Bowser is already on the mend! With proper treatment and a high-quality diet, his skin is improving nicely, and he’s feeling better each day. Bowser is comfortable around other dogs in his foster home, but his true love is his people. He’s a loyal little companion who would happily shadow his human all day long, making him the perfect buddy for someone who wants a constant sidekick. We’ve found that Bowser is likely pee pad trained and is still learning how to confidently go potty outside. He does best when his person is right there with him, so he’ll need a family willing to continue working with him on outdoor potty training and building his confidence. Bowser would thrive in a home that understands the needs of the Boston Terrier breed, including ongoing skin care, a good diet, and lots of love and companionship. Bowser has not been tested around children or cats.f If you’re looking for a devoted, snuggly companion who just wants to be by your side, Bowser might be your perfect match. If you are interested in adopting Bowser, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.   **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
