BRANDICE NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!   Come meet Brandice and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (3/22) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Silver Spring (12020 Cherry Hill Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20904)!   Name: Brandice        Best Guess for Breed:  Shepherd and retriever mix Best Guess for Age:  3 years as of February 2026        SEX:   Female   Approximate Weight: 42 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven’t seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home.   Special adoption considerations:    In certain home settings — where the environment might be loud or more intense — Brandice would do better with another dog in the home to give her confidence.   Brandice is Looking For:  She’s a young girl looking forward to sniffy walks and romps in parks and all the adventures her new family can dream up. Quality kibble and a cushy dog bed would be great too, but you know what she wants most of all? To be safe and loved, to know where she belongs. In exchange she promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say? Can you see her by your side?   What My Foster Says About Me:   Brandice just might be the sweetest soul you’ll ever meet. She’s a professional kiss-giver and will happily lean her whole heart (and body!) into you for belly rubs. If you’re looking for affection, she delivers it in the gentlest, most loving way.   She’s the perfect balance of cozy couch potato and curious sniffy explorer. One minute she’s content to lounge by your side, and the next she’s happily investigating the house with that adorable nose of hers. Brandice is wonderfully independent, too — she’s more than happy to occupy herself with a bone or spend time sniffing around without needing constant attention.   When it comes to other dogs, Brandice is a true gem. She’s a friend to every pup she meets and keeps her cool even if another dog gets a little reactive. She reads the room well and understands when other dogs need their space.   Brandice is a very sweet, affectionate, and friendly girl who loves being around her people. She enjoys cuddling and will happily lean in for attention and belly rubs. She does great with other dogs and has a playful, social personality. She doing well with house training, rides well in the car, and has been settling nicely into a home environment. During the day, she will even go into her crate on her own to relax. Nrandice has a curious and adventurous side and loves being outside, whether that’s going for walks, exploring new places, or running around at the park. She would do best in an active home that can give her regular exercise, playtime, and continued leash training to help her build on her skills. She is a loving, happy pup who will thrive with someone who enjoys an energetic companion and is excited to continue helping her grow. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
