Please contact Paul Slebzak (pauls@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.sweet mama ready for her own family! BREANNA NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!! Name: Breanna Best Guess for Breed: Retriever and terrier mix Best Guess for Age: 2 years as of November 2024 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 50 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven’t seen her with kids, but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters. Breanna is a little too fixated with cats so she should not go to a home with cats. Currently Living at: DC area boarding partner; she would love a foster home while searching for her forever family! Breanna is Looking For: Her forever family! This sweet mama did an amazing job of raising her babies Bambi, Beatrice, Bernie, Beth, Bex, Billie, Birdie, Bowie, and Butterscotch to be great family pets and they’re off to their own forever homes. And now she has all that love and affection piling up, ready to bestow upon her new humans. She’s in her prime and has all that awesome young-dog energy. She’s eager for long sniffy walks, romps in parks, and all the adventures her family can dream up. Quality kibble and a cushy dog bed are on her wish list as well. But you know what she wants most? To know she’s safe and loved and under her own roof. She has so much to offer. Adoring gazes, love, and loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say? Is Breanna the one you see by your side? What My Foster Says About Me: Breanna has the sweetest, most soulful face, and a disposition to match. She greets people and dogs gently. She will trot happily by your side. She’s also a natural hiker, climbing over rocks and walking along the trail with grace. She is very alert and in tune to her surroundings, preferring to look out the car window and take it all in. She’s energetic and playful but not restless. She’s food- and treat-motivated and eager to learn. We’ve made good progress on “sit,” “look at me,” and “touch.” She seems interested in my cat but in a friendly way. She is the sweetest girl and will be the best addition to any family heading into the new year :) Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.
